Titanium Gunworks
Posted by Pigeon on Apr 20 2005
Well,
as I promissed You, I have developed and designed some special scope mount, which is made from Titanium!
Well, if anyone is interessted: Have a look at www.titanium-gunworks.com
The mount is designed to fit with European scopes like Swarovski, Zeiss or Schmidt & Benderīs, especially with the rail attachment. It is very easy to assemble and the scope is without stress, due to the rail attachment and the unique "bridge", which is machined from one part...
Due to some special ideas behind, the scope is detachable and rezero is very high... (I would say zero, but I canīt meassure in a laboratory, so only shooting and there I could not find any move of the point of impact...)
The mount is amazing light for its solid design: just 95 gramms for the "bridge" and about 15 gramms for the bases, the bridges goes down to amazing 66 gramms when taking this from aircraft-aluminium!
On the web page, you could only see the stainless edition of the mount, but it comes also plasma coated, which is the blackest black you have ever seen (more than 95% adsorption of the light).
Well, I would be glad to get some messages from You...
And I hope, not having broken any rules of the forum with this mail.
Best wishes from Germany
Klaus
...unfortunally, the web page is in German, but I will make a flyer in English with the most important details on it, so drop me an email if interessted...
