Scope
Posted by Romcho on Apr 16 2005
Burton,
Do you mean that the gun is shooting too high and the scope won't adjust down enough???  Or are you trying to get both adjustments exactly in the middle before sighting in???  Never tried turning the adjustments on any of my Leupold scopes all the way to the end of the adjustment range (never neede to).  This scope was mounted on a Remington Model Seven in Leupold rings and boresighted at Boondocks in Eagle River, where I bought it new.  Had absolutely no problem re sighting in (was on paper right away) and had no reason to adjust it after the initial sighting in, except for a click or two either direction.  The scope was not mounted on any other gun.  Wouldn't think that you should have to be at the extreme end of either the windage or elevation adjustment.  Anyway, if you can't get it to work, let me know, send it back to me, and I will give you your money back.
