I have had good luck with the 350 Hornady on moose.  It penetrated and held together just fine.  Check out my reply over in the Hunting Forum for details.  A moose may be big, but they're just not that hard to put down with good shot placement.  That said, I do load the Kodiak 405's for brownies.
