[ Return to Contents | Post a Reply | Post a new message ] 450 Posted by Nain on Mar 24 2005 I own a 450 and harvested a moose with it. The problem though is that I called this moose in and shot it in the head at roughly 15 feet away. I was in an alder thicket when this happened. I am very sure that this is more than enough gun for moose and grizz. I was using 350 grain Hornady's. At that close the bullet stayed together and actually traveled through and through without creating a huge exit hole like I thought that it should have done. I will keep my 450 for the long haul. I love it. Previous: Hornady 350 OK For Moose ak257 Mar 29 2005 Message Thread:
