guide gun
Posted by Magnum Man on Mar 21 2005
I have a 450 and use it for hunting deer on admiralty.
I have a 4x burris but im going to change it to a 1 to 4 or 5 variable.  I had a red dot scope on that was good for maybe a hundred yards. But i dont think you want to use a red dot because they are considered artificial light and hence not legal to use even in the daytime. Also i dont think any of them are fog proof or waterproof and you gotta worrie about the battery too. that could lead to a bad situation quickly.  if you got the dough I wpould go with the leoupold 1.5x5 hands down for a close up woods scope that also can handle the 200yrd or so max range of the guide gun.
