I have one of each, both in full alum pillar bedding. McMillan is top end, lighter, higher quality, that I use for my mountain gun. Have a Hogue overmolded on my moose gun. Went with it to reduce the noise of brush scraping my syn. stock. It works great and is half the price.

Bottom line....if I could afford the McMillan on all my guns I would have it...but I can't and the Hogue is half the price and works well.
