Thankyou Brian for that indepth explanation and advice.It's hell getting older and having the eyes go south.You hit the nail right on the head.I am 58.I had to laugh when you said that,like you have ESP or something.I hated the thought of putting a scope on a nice lever gun but age gives me no choice.You are right.I was just hoping that the ghost rings were a mirical cure or something,wishful thinking,I think is the term.I'm going to look into a good one piece mount and a good low powered Leupold scope.Thanks again for your reply.Good shooting!
