[ Return to Contents | Post a Reply | Post a new message ] Floating Posted by Bigmnt on Feb 25 2005 If you have the winchester composite stock on you M70, the underside of the barrel channel is hallowed out and cases the forearm to be very flimsy. NOT GOOD! Most factory bedding jobs are poor at best and only put a dob of glue on the front lug. My first recomendation would be to do a full actoin bedding using Brownells green past, (not the red box but the green.) Shoot the gun and see how it shoots. With the Wichester composit stalk it will not take much sanding to float the barrel. Previous: hot glue!%$@ George Feb 25 2005 Message Thread:
