[ Return to Contents | Post a Reply | Post a new message ] scope options Posted by Burton on Feb 23 2005 I recently purchased a Ruger M77 338 stainless/synthetic with factory iron sights. I've always been a fan of Leupold scopes and have several on my current rifles from compact fixed 4's, 1.5-5's on a 375, all the way to a 4.5-14x50 on my varmint rifle. I'm looking at the traditional 3-9 or maybe trying something new with a 2.5-8 or 3.5-10. I don't have any experience with these scopes and I'm looking for a little input and opinion on them. I'm concerned about have too large of a scope with the 338, that's why I stuck with the 1.5-5 on my 375. If anyone has pointers I'd be glad to hear them. Thanks in advance Next: Can't go wrong Tony Perkins Feb 24 2005 Message Thread:
