[ Return to Contents | Post a Reply | Post a new message ] .338 Posted by Romcho on Feb 15 2005 I have a T3 in .300 WSM. Sold my Sako TRG .338 in order to get the lighter T3. Got good accuracy in the Sako with Federal Premium ammo: 250 grain Nosler Partition; 210 grain Nosler Partition and the 225 Trophy Bonded. I would: check your action screws; make sure mounts are secure(there's been some discussion on whether the aluminum ones that come with the gun are tough enough, but I have not had any problems with them); consider getting a gun rest. I bought the BenchMaster gun rest. It has a small sandbag for the forearm, a rear cradle for the butt stock, and many adjustments. Really makes sighting-in easier. In fact, when I go the range, my friends always want to use it to make sure their guns are sighted in properly.
