Sectional density is superb for the .338 bullets.  As much as I really like the .375 H&H, for Alaska the .338 Win Mag is great.  Now if recoil isn't a problem, then the .338 Remington Ultra-Mag would be the best of all worlds.... range and power, but hunkering down behind the RUM on a prone shot could be startling!
