When you look at factory ammunition ballistic information, the company lists "short trajectory" and "long trajectory".  What's the difference and how does that difference affect me as a hunter?  Let me add, I understand what trajectory is by itself, 1" high at 100 yds, -1.5 at 300 yds, etc., but why do they specify "short" vs "long"?
