I can tell you what I was told, I did actually get a letter from the Canadian Ministry (Government). Basically it was not no but hell no to handguns in the country. I drove up to Fairbanks (moved here)in May of 2004. No, I can't cross the Canadian border to travel to my new residence in Alaska with hand guns in my vehicle. Long guns ok but no hand guns of any kind.!!! so I sold what I had and re-ordered up here so I would'n be with out for long. I don't like the way the Canadians have to check you out to see if you are worthy to come into their country. Where would they be without Americans. <edited> .....So much for friendly neighbors.
