late spring
Posted by GunsmithRob on May 12 2006
We went over to POW on April 28th and came out on May 5th. Didn't see so much as a bear track much less a bear. There was still a lot of snow up in the mountains and we only heard of 1 bear being shot that week out of over 100 hunters that I personally saw. The airline clerk said she checked in aover 250 hunters with only one bear that week. Next year I'm booking later, but this was an exceptionally late spring. Most years we would have been in 'em.
