Selling souls?
Posted by Chuck375 on May 06 2006

Your point is well-made.

I'm an 'outsider', yes, but I'm not talking about problems specifially endemic to Alaska, nor am I trying to make any sort of claim to my federal 'rights' to dictate the future of ANWR, etc.

I have yet to spend a dime in Alaska, save a little postage and a splurge on Tony Russ's book on sheep hunting. I claim no turf.

I'm simply trying to convey that there are alternatives to our continuing an ugly trend toward using up what we've been given.

I don't like the thought of my country with no wild lands left. Call me a hippie. I'll take a bow while I'm munching a tenderloin of venison, its owner culled from an exploding herd riddled with bluetongue.

I just don't want AK to follow the ugly trend, forgive my cheechako temerity.
