Still the same

I was at the last BoG meeting in Fbks, Mark. Your quote above is still exactly what happens. I think it is a fair system. Perhaps if good ol Tony gets back in the mansion, your fears of non hunters making decisions will materialize, Since Tony was so determined to get a non hunter on the board.

Nowhere on this forum have I expressed support for Seekins bill. Not that I can remember anyway. Check your files, maybe you can prove me wrong.
You have a problem with local knowledge being a reliable source of information? Perhaps you can clear something up. Despite your GMU having a long moose season, a winter season, and an early subsistence season, you reglarly tell folks on this forum that moose hunting is poor along your river. Is your local knowledge faulty or unreliable?

An F&G bio is hired by regional managers and really, only answers to them. It would be dificult to remove one that was not acting in the best interest of both the resource, and the people who use that resource. A BoG member only serves for 3 years. He/she must answer to our elected reps, each time they come up for reappointment.
I'm fully in support of efforts to get more money for F&G use. I'm not in support of giving them more say in regulating the resource that you and I own.
