less meat?

Without knowing all info. its hard to tell if he got ripped off. If the 780lb included shoulder & leg bones with rib cage then there's going to be these losses plus the fat removed along with any damaged meat. If it was all meat, and he does not get his Heart or roasts then he took it in the shorts (my guess is the guide did not convae the order correctly and if got ground into burger). Also .50 cents a pound is to low even for burger as they add fat (8-15%) at $1.00 a pound, Brats are going for $2.00 a pound, and paddie sausage goes for $1.25 pound (www.indianvalleymeats.com and their cheaper than most anybody).
Having a good butcher is a blessing.
