        For what it is worth, I know Shawn to be an excellent individual. He has shared his life time of Alaska experience on this forum frequently to all comers. Unlike some other frequent posters he has done this with out bombast or frequent reference to his lengthy qualifications. His departure from guiding is a real tragedy for those who have not had the opportunity to interact with him. While I do not know the details of the events that lead up to his conviction, there are two sides to every story. At a minimum I ask that those who do not know him not rush to gloat over his troubles. “Let him who is without sin……”
