I was down on the Rich. as far as the Denali hwy. today.
Winters still gripping that area pretty hard right now.  The snow is deep--several feet at Fielding lake--and I don't think its be gonna for gone for quite awhile.  I did see some caribou around Black Rapids, probably a few wolves hanging behind them.
Bears are gonna be late, or at least tougher to get to this year I would think....
