[ Return to Contents | Post a Reply | Post a new message ] i agree Posted by BRWNBR on Apr 29 2006 that the decisions should be put in teh hands of the people we've trained to do the job, politics rule/ruin most of what they get ahold of that is strange to them. i belive we have to play a predator control role, not just for hunters sake for the sake of game animals as well as just passers by who see the moose next to the road. saying that we need to take 80 percent would certainly help the rebound be a slight be quicker but the one factor that we cannot control or effect is the winters...we could do all this haslte knock out some wolves and still loose just as many moose to the snow?! not an exact science since there is an uncontrolled element but i say let the guys who study it and make their living at it, take the gamble.
