Hmmm... you've given me some food for thought here.... If you DID build a house out of Lamilite, you could keep it compressed for years in a hermetically sealed, vacuum packed bag.  Then when the BIG ONE hits, presto!  Instant house!  You're warm and dry...  Might be missing a market here.

What if you went with blown-in Lamilite insulation on exsiting houses?  But then they wouldn't be able to laminate it together... would it just be called "lite" at that point?  I gotta think about that one.

Fiberglas insulation in sleeping bags; more food for thought.  I had a sweater made out of that stuff while I was doing a market test for a new line of outdoor clothing, but just couldn't get past the itchy phase.  Needs more work.  Hmmm...

Thanks for the insights, and stimulating conversation.  I'll go back to my corner now and think about it a while...
