I remember you posting something about this last year.  That was an incredible story and congrats to you on such a successful hunt.  Your bear looks like a nice big ol fatty!  On to your hand...I worked in the emergency room on Elmendorf and saw your situation a couple times and those folks were transferred to Prov also...bad deal indeed.  I'm glad you recovered and were able to write the story for all of us to read!  I always wear rubber gloves when skinning animals but if you cut yourself while wearing them they don't help either! :) Kevlar would be the ticket!  I think your story is a good reminder to folks heading out this spring!  Good luck to you!
