Bill Smoke
Posted by Alaskacanoe on Apr 26 2006
one the Airplane ride back to Alaska from Seattle I read that long time Alaskan Bill Smoke died in that plane collision 20 miles from Anchorage. Bill Chased me around when he was stationed out in King Salmon many years ago. He was the Head Fed Fish cop out in that area and spent a bit of time in my camps, just doing his job. and later was given the head job over all fed fish cop pilots. He was a good man. if any of you have some thougts or memories it would be nice to hear them.
