of ethics and armchairing...

John, thanks for the post, and thanks to the other substative contributors.
Its ironic really, with all of the armchairing about ethics, when a poster really asks something meaningful (which may even touch on the overdone subject), the answers are few and far between. Perhaps we needs some juicy "what if" ethical scenario to bring out the lords of ethical interpretation. Ah, the bad 'ole days!
