hunting area
Posted by viktor on Apr 25 2006
Virtualy the entire Petersville area is huntable with a good winch and a 4 wheeler. I know the one big strip near cache creek gets many hunters dropped in. There is now a trail up dollar creek and down to the Kahiltna glacier and almost to the strip. If i was paying for a fly in trip i would recomend somthing better then Petersville. It is a beautiful spot but it is within driving area of Anchorage and gets hunted very hard. Just my thoughts
