first experience with single wall tent...
Posted by BRWNBR on Apr 23 2006
just got back from doing five days on kodiak with my new north face solo 12 i belive its called, 2.7lbs and handiest tent i've ever carried, set up nice, tight inside but its a one man. had roof vents and floor vents and i woke up every morning with water dripping on my face, anything touched the wall of the tent it was soaked. not cool(no pun intended) at all. maybe in warm weather the single wall would be great, but i'll be stickin' to my mountain hardware pct 1 and meridian 1 from now on. just thought i'd give a shout out...
