I'M BRINGING ONE!
Posted by FALCON on Apr 23 2006
Guys:

I will bring something leightweight. The Black Diamond looks good, and at 10 oz, I doubt they get much lighter. Heck, I should know better then to ask a question like that. Back in the day, way back when I was 16 elk hunting, I got turned around at dusk and spent the night in the boonies. To make matters worse, I had fallen in the river, so I was pretty wet. My matches got wet, so I built a shelter out of cedar branches. All I can say is a guy can get pretty close to God in a time like that. I don't think I got frostbight, but I did lose 3 or four toe nails that turned black and fell off. Suffice to say I now carry a few more items in my pack.
