re; bivy sack
Posted by cold zero on Apr 22 2006

if you went out for the day and saw a big one you could not pass on and got stuck out over night, would it be good to have a bivy to keep the wind off you and the rain and snow? how about if you are already wet?

you only have one life. i carry a black diamond winter bivy with me. it weights 10 ozs, windproof, highly water resistent, cost $100. at the very least a 5 ft. trash compactor bag you could get inside to save your life.

i will be in the park too sept 14, good luck, be warm, be lucky.
