Wood river float considerations
Posted by BIG 27 on Apr 20 2006
Hello to all that took the time to read this post. I am currently serving in Iraq and trying to plan a float this fall. Looking at doing a float trip down the wood river in September for moose/grizz.
I would like to float down from the upper stretches of the river and just would like to know if anybody could provide insight or knowledge
to this area and specasil consideration saftey etc. Also how much hunting pressure can I expect and what are the cahnces of success in this area. The game bilogist in Fairbanks speaks verh highly of 20a with it being the top density per sqaure mile of moose in the state.
So info would be much apprecaited I just want to do something semi remote with a good chance of sucess and finding a little bit of solitude.

Thanks, Much
