controlled burn

I couldnt find the websight again. Bummer. The only reference I could find was http://www.wc.adfg.state.ak.us/pubs/techpubs/mgt_rpts/msh02_southcentral.pdf

which references a controlled burn on round mountain in the 70's. Apparently burning the grass does work to improve sheep habitat though. Wonder why they dont do it more.
