Delta Bison
Posted by BJenx on Apr 01 2006
I heard something on the news that the Alaska Fire Service and the Army were going to do some controlled burns on Army training lands this spring but I haven't heard anything about the Delta Herd.  I can't imagine the state agree to work with the Army to do the control burns if that would harm the Delta herd. I imagine the state makes a lot of money from all the permit applications each year.  I can't imagine that Delta Junction would allow the state to do anything that could hurt the bison herd.
