I don't know of any specific AK charities that would cover this type of thing, or if you are looking for a recognized org that can also offer a tax write-off. However, I do know of this org, and have heard good things:

They offer donated "dream" hunts to kids 21 and under who have terminal illnesses. Not sure if they are looking for a brown bear hunt in Alaska (kids request certain hunts).

Please don't infer that I in any way disagree with what Daveinthebush had to say on offering a hunt to a veteran. And Dave, glad you will show Matt a good time; good on ya.
