Kifaru tipi HELP
Posted by Richard Ragan on Mar 31 2006
I need help with deciding on the Kifaru 6 man or 8 man tipi. I plan on using this tent for primarily float trips for moose and caribou with 2 to 3 hunters and family “truck camping” with 3 people. My main concern is the relatively large foot print of the 8 man. I know there have been many times I would have had to look for another camp sight with this tent because of the foot print size. On the other hand I am fairly tall 6’ 5” and like the idea of a true stand-up tent. Also any thoughts on stove size large, medium ? I am leaning on the large stove as it doesn’t add to much weight or cubic inches. Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Richard
