brown bears
Posted by Magnum Man on Mar 31 2006
You should try hook up with someone in southest alaska when the salmon  are spawning in the streams. never shot a bear but there is plenty of em around in aug.sept. just make sure season is open. Fish and game say there is 1 browny every square mile on Admiralty Island. And they are big fish fed bears. From what I see they might be right on the numbers. Also lots of brownies on chichikof island and prince of whales island. Out of state you need a guide though.and a 375 hh lol. just an idea for you. most of these area are accessible through the alaska marine highway system.
