I struggle finding shoes/boots and in particular and prone to ankle, upper heel blisters due to bone build-up and narrow heels (but need room in the toe box). I have a Dall sheep hunt in August, and need to find the right boot ASAP. Local stores have limited selection and so far little to offer in terms of advice. Ordering a bunch of boots from zappos or REI and sending the ones that don't fit back is an option, although at $200-$250/boot this is a lot to play around with. Local Cabelas carries only the "Perfekt" boots which is fine for the local deer hunters but I suspect not adequate for the rocks/shale I'm likely to encounter. Next: Thanks for the suggestions & thoughts thus far ... Bill in Pa Mar 30 2006 Message Thread:
