I've taken this shot on moose and brown bear at 50 yds and less from the prone position. Aiming at 6" under the chin and at base of neck.
Game never moved more than about two or three steps. They were down before another round was chamberd, then a second shot at brown while down.
Like all serious hunters, I know where my bullet is going to hit BEFORE I pull the trigger.
Shots I have never taken are: 1. over 200 yds and 2.at running game
