But at less than 50 yards.  Occasionally you will get a shot at an animal at almost point blank range.  Say 20 yards or less and the animal is not moving...just staring directly at you.

It is a simple thing at that range to just shoot them between the eyes.  I've done it at least three times.  If you can't hit the bulls eye at 20 yards or less you have no business hunting.

I have never tried it at 50 yards plus, and have turned down a lot of shots like that over the years.  And of course, have not taken a lot of game because of it.
