Just kidding. But here is the article to all those interested in pursuing further. Fly Fisherman, March 2006 issue states that a Canadian based company that basically invests in big money opportunities has applied to SEC for the rights to offer stock to fund the open pit mine. From what I read, if true this could be a case of the U.S. and AK getting left with a mess. The article goes on to state that this company in their prospectus talks about liability for potential risks being lower because the operation would be on American soil.If I read correctly the director for Alaskans for Responsible Mining(Scott Brennan)doesn't think it a good idea either. Does anyone know what the status of this situation is now? What representatives know about it? Seems like a precious few will gain at the expense of many. Jeff L
