...don't expect a high cap magazine to make things get better.

The trouble is so many folks choose their defensive gun based on how many follow shots they'll get, totall ignoring the fact that in a real charge, you're lucky to get off one shot, and if it isn't well aimed, it won't do you much good.

There is no doubt that with the proper bullet a 10mm will kill a bear, there is also no doubt that it is far from a more than enough gun for the job at hand, more likely a just barely enough gun, if things go right, and getting charged already puts you in a situation of things going very wrong.

On the up side, hardly anybody gets charged, so for 99+% of the folks packing, it really doesn't matter what you carry.
