bear baits
Posted by monster on Feb 27 2006
awhile back a buddy told me a recipe for a bear bait . it was corn syrup, molasses, and i think vanailla and a few other things which i can't remember. put it in a pot and boil/cook it which was important. then dipped burap bags in it and hung those from trees the advantages were the bear would suck on it and play with it rather than dine and dash plus it was light weight and could be pack into remote areas. if someone has heaard of this concoction please help fillin the blanks. i'd also like to hear what others use. i've heardof dog food w/bacon grease, and doughnuts
