Baiting
Posted by AkHunter45 on Feb 02 2006
Right on northway, even though i don't bait much anymore i thouroughly enjoyed being in the woods watching bears interact with each other and with us. To compare baiting with sitting on a dump is just ridiculous. They have no idea what kind of work it takes to get the bait site set up properly and what has to be done once the season is over. And I qoute.....

"Baiting is quite plainly what it is… an undemanding, cost-effective scheme for the indolent individual that does not identify with, value, or appreciate wildlife in its natural environment."  End qoute.

That Mr Richardson is an unsult and unless you participate and see what it's all about, you should really keep your very negative comments to yourself. Who are you to judge and classify people as "indolent" (= lazy, yes i know what it means) when you have never met them or hunted with them? You should try getting down off your high horse sometime and see how us regular folks do things. Have a nice day!
