M-70 .375 H&H
Posted by whateveri8 on Jan 31 2006
I too agree the .375 is the best Alaska Bear gun. although mine is a pre '64  Winchester safari mags have went back to the pre 64 config and put some refinements to it so don't be afraid of a new M-70. BTW, my .338 on a Ruger M-77 kicks as bad as the .375. once you get over the hump with a .300 win mag, they all kick, so get tough and get good with whatever you shoot. that's the real trick. Don't go out and buy a new calibre and hunt it before becoming comfortable shooting it, unless it's a .470 NE double. Just point and pull the triggers on that one :)
