now i know not everyone will agree with me as the post before would indicate but .338 mag asked what was our favorite i belive. mine is by far and away the .416 rem with 400 grain barnesX bullets. i've finished bears out well past 200 yards with it and as close as several feet. has the trajectory of the .375 minus about an inch and has more power all the way around. slightly more recoil, but well worth it. my gun prints cloverleafs at a hundred yards off the bench, which i never shoot bears off of, but nice to know it can do it. i've backed up alot of clients who've had .375's and the difference in bullet impact is amazing...plug your ears watch the bullet hit and you'll now which gun it came from!!
