selling
Posted by BRWNBR on Jan 31 2006
you can sell everything else. frankly i'd rather sell a grizz hide than keep it. i don't want to pay for tanning on every bear i shoot, being able to sell it would ensure the bear would be have a place worthwhile, rather than getting the crap blown outa him and sitting in a freezer or closet. someone would take cherish it.
as far as it getting over used...there will always be hunting regulations so i doubt they'll get over harvested due to profit. not many guys i know would spend the money to seriously hunt a bear just to sell it and make a couple bucks. the more hides get on the market the less value they'll have anyway.
