the three dangers...

After several dropoff fishing trips in Canada years ago, I told my brother that I had figured out the three most dangerous things about our trips.
number 1  cutting/splitting firewood
number 2 handling great big northern pike
number 3 eating MY cooking

Good advice in earlier posts above. a suture kit is a really good idea but a wound should be cleaned as well as possible before you close it. ditto for dental repair kit.
Flagyl does take care of giardia in most cases, it may take a few days before you feel like you are going to live but bushrat is right on.
We carry Gas-X for the cooking hazard!!   Kid
