[ Return to Contents | Post a Reply | Post a new message ] thinking on that one Posted by twodux on Jan 24 2006 Tech, on the surface that seems reasonable, but why can't you have an event like that elsewhere? Are you saying there is no small game in Alaska? Or maybe that there isn't a spot with enough parking to get a large crowd together? Or it's just a convienient place to do it? How did dogs get trained and people learn to hunt before game farms? And how will someone who hunted on a game farm feel about real hunting (out in the woods)if they go out and spend a day hunting and don't see a darn thing? Myself, I have had many great unsuccessful days, but a person who's expectations are to be successful everytime out may consider real hunting a waste of time. Or they may start getting on the game department to kill more wolves because there aren't enough animals for them to shoot.
