I've never hunted over bait or shot birds at a farm. I have fished public streams and lakes that were enhanced, but I didn't use feed pellets. I swear! There's a bit of a difference between fishing in a wild stream or lake where fish are free to go where ever they please and shooting an animal trapped behind a high fence. That would be more like fishing in an aquarium which I haven't done either.
