Mat-Su Borough, Driveway/Right-of-way Permits

Early today I called Mat-Sue Borough, Driveway/Right-of-way Permit office in Palmer.
I talked to a person who was very knowledgeable.
I know exactly where the gate is. Last year I wanted to go back to the North-fork. The gate was locked. I talked to a local, he said it was private property. Being a Doubting Thomas, I found out for myself.
(YES it is private property).
The reason for the call today was to verify my information.
Question: Is there private property at the end of xxxxxxxxx road? (YES)
Is there a Easement through the gate? (NO)
Is the gate legal? (YES)
Is the gate located on private property? (I don't know).
Is there state land access to the river? (YES, along the river).
Where can I find out more information on this area? (DNR)
End of Questions.
I searched the records and found no trails or easement crossing the private property in question, if there is one, I did not find it.
If you have read any of my old posts you know I hate people who put up phony "NO TRESPASS" signs. I am not asking anyone to believe what I say is true, I may have missed something, look it up for your self.
