This is a Hunting Forum, Not Rageaholics Anonymous

Obviously, my attempt to remove slander from the discussion and move it to a more private level has failed. It's too bad that a legitimite hunting topic has now been displaced with someone else's own personal agenda, however bitter or convoluted it is.
The actual facts are simple - the gate in question is a driveway that leads to private property, paid for, taxed upon and legal.  There are easements and right-of-way trails located throughout the private property, BUT the developed trail system, including the one that leads to the North Fork, are not exclusively part of these public domains. After the mail trail hits the developed trail and follows it momentarily, it then drops down to the river, OFF the developed trail. So anyone who rides the developed trail system is on private property and trespassing unless they have permission. Everyone is free to use any right-of-ways and beat brush all the way to the North Fork, but we all know that isn't what happens when there is a nice graded trail to drive down. If anyone is injured on this trail, then the person who owns it is liable, hence the reason for the gate.
I appreciate this forum for it's honesty and respect anyone who contributes because they must share the same values of hunting and the outdoors as I do. But anyone who is just here to air dirty laundry by throwing out accusations, name calling and even threatening fellow members is only here to stir the pot and adds no real merit. As someone wise once said, don't covet your neighbor's property. I haven no beef to pick and only wish to subdue fruther confrontation by posting this. Like I said before, feel free to PM me for further discussion.
Anyone else, who is not confrontational, is more than welcome to stop by the cabin some time for introductions. This is a hunting forum and most of us are here to enjoy what Alaska has to offer with our family and friends, and I savor the opportunity to meet such principled individuals. So Godspeed on all of your hunting adventures, and safely speaking for all of my moose hunting buddies and my moose eating children, I hope everyone who wants a brown bear this year is successful!
