I carry a 44 mag with CorBons, sometimes even when I have a rifle. 6 accurately delivered 44 bullets are pretty lethal. Not as good as a shotgun, but easier to deliver in tight quarters or with a heavy load on my back. I like the double action, and I like that my recoil recovery is much better than with the newer monster-bore pistols.

One more opinion. No more, no less.
